KEYNOTE PRESENTER

Nan Wehipeihana

Nan Wehipeihana is the director of Weaving Insights (www.weavinginsights.co.nz) and a member of the Kinnect Group (www.kinnect.co.nz). Nan’s tribal affiliations are to Ngāti Tukorehe and Ngāti Raukawa, north of Wellington, Aotearoa, New Zealand, and Ngāti Porou and Te Whānau-ā-Apanui on the East Coast of the North Island.

Nan specialises in evaluation and research focusing on Māori, the Indigenous people of Aotearoa NZ and building evaluation capacity with tribes and Māori organisations to evidence outcomes, including cultural outcomes. By bringing the voices and views of Māori to government and funders, she aims to offer insight into Māori values and perspectives for use in government, business, and community contexts.

New Featured Conference Event:

We extend an invitation to submit a proposal for Birds of a Feather, a session format designed to facilitate informal, small-group discussions with the goal of fostering connections and exchanging ideas. Instead of delivering a formal presentation, facilitators will introduce key questions or topics to spark conversation and collaborative exploration.

Featured Conference Event: Share-A-Thon

Share-A-Thon presenters will present their work in an open, 60-minute session. Presenters will be provided a table and are invited to bring their own materials and/or devices to showcase their work in an interactive, expo-style Share-A-Thon. Posters, flyers, laptops, cards, games... anything is possible! The only requirements are that presenters use an aid or materials to share their content and it fits in the space provided (standard table).

The aid/materials presenters use to share their work has a chance to win a cash award in honor of Lois-ellin Datta. First place is $100 and presentation aid/materials will be rated (by attendees) on design, content, and usefulness.
