Thursday, January 28, 2021 4:00-5:30 pm HST

This workshop will be followed by a H-PEA online Social, 5:30-6:00 pm HST

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

Tools like logic models can guide program managers in the design, implementation, and evaluation of their program. Logic models can also support communication about program elements, process, and outcomes. This workshop will include a basic overview of logic model design and use, followed by a hands-on activity where participants will practice designing a logic model, and concluding with a discussion about applications to participants’ programs. While all are welcome, this workshop will be designed specifically for practitioners who are new to logic models, using examples of application to relatively small, community-based programs.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

By the end of the workshop, participants will:

1. have a better understand of how logic models can be used to guide design, implementation, and evaluation of their program;

2. have defined the elements of a simple logic model;

3. designed a simple logic model based on the community-based program and;

4. identified next steps for designing a logic model for their own program

This workshop will be offered virtually through ZOOM. A ZOOM link will be sent with a reminder email prior to the event.
